Will Smith has been on a wild ride the past few years. From writing a best-selling novel to inviting the world on his fitness journey and then falling to new lows at the Oscars, Will went through some exhilarating peaks and challenging lows, to say the least… and I was there along for the ride.
For over two years, I produced and helped write a breathe of content for Westbrook Media, spanning from animation sequences to commercials and social media campaigns. My day-to-day included managing schedules, leaving notes on edits, casting, creating and marking stringouts, writing paper edits/scripts, script supervising shoots, and more for Will Smith and his partnerships.
Which includes this apology video after the Oscars. I led the edit for the initial two cuts before it went on to the heads of Westbrook Media and Will’s confidants.
I had the opportunity to assist in writing and producing content for Will Smith's book tour. This included creating an engaging audiobook experience, combining animations with AV studio recordings to bring his stories to life.
A big part of my role at Westbrook was co-producing Will’s Youtube vlogs with Jason Nguyen.
Which included scenes from his fitness journey: “Best Shape of my Life.”
And marketing assets for his shows like “Welcome to Earth.”
